Ring Size Guide
Finding your perfect ring size is a meaningful step in creating a piece that feels truly yours. Whether it’s for an engagement, a gift, or a personal treat, a well-fitting ring brings comfort and confidence. At Keanis, we make the process both simple and precise — with thoughtful tools you can try at home, and expert support just a message away.
How should a ring fit?
Your ring should slide on comfortably and come off with a slight resistance — secure, but never restrictive. It should feel natural on your finger, allowing for daily wear without pinching or slipping.
A simple way to check? Try the shake test: relax your hand by your side, give it a gentle shake, and ensure the ring stays in place without feeling loose.
At Keanis, our Try-On Kit is thoughtfully designed to help you get the perfect fit. It includes not only metal ring sizers, but also sample stone shapes in varying dimensions to see how different designs look and feel on your hand. It’s the first meaningful step in discovering the ring that’s truly right for you.
Tips for the Perfect Fit
Ring sizing is part art, part science. From the hand you measure to the time of day, small factors can make a meaningful difference. These tips will help guide you to a size that feels as good as it looks — secure, comfortable, and truly yours.
-
Measure the wearing hand
Our dominant hands tend to be slightly larger. Always measure the finger on the hand you intend to wear your ring on for the most accurate fit.
-
Check at the right time
Fingers can swell or shrink based on temperature and hydration. Measure your finger when your body is at a normal temperature — ideally in the late afternoon or evening.
-
Account for the knuckle
If you have prominent knuckles, measure both the knuckle and the base of your finger. Choose a size that comfortably fits over the knuckle but isn’t loose when worn.
-
Mind the band width
Wider bands fit more snugly. If your ring is over 4mm wide, consider sizing up by half a size. For very fine bands (under 1.5mm), you may size down slightly for a more secure fit.
-
When in doubt, size up
Finger size can fluctuate throughout the day. If you're between sizes, we suggest choosing the larger one for greater ease and comfort.
-
Remember half sizes
Our ring sizing options include half sizes. If a full size feels slightly tight and the next one up feels too loose, a half size in between is often just right.
