About this ring

All Keanis diamonds are selected to meet the highest standards across the 4Cs — Colour, Clarity, Cut and Carat — the globally recognised benchmarks of diamond quality.

Colour
The diamond colour scale ranges from D (completely colourless) to Z (light yellow or brown). At Keanis, we offer only the top two grades — D (the highest) and E (second highest). Both are classified as colourless, delivering exceptional brilliance, purity, and timeless appeal.

Clarity
Our diamonds are available in IF (Internally Flawless), VVS (Very Very Slightly Included), and VS (Very Slightly Included) grades — with the majority being eye-clean, meaning no inclusions are visible without magnification.

Cut
While Cut options aren’t listed, we only use the highest grade for each diamond:

  • Ideal Cut (maximum fire and brilliance — applicable to round cuts only)
  • Excellent Symmetry
  • Excellent Polish

Accent Diamonds
All of our accent stones are full-cut (57–58 facets for round shapes), offering maximum sparkle. We use only D–E colour and VVS–VS clarity — the same standards found in high-end fine jewellery.

Learn more about Lab Grown Diamonds

While our prices may appear lower than most jewellers, the quality behind each piece speaks otherwise. In fact, our production costs are often higher — because we insist on doing things the right way:

  • Every piece undergoes multiple rounds of quality control
  • We use thicker bands, meaning more gold and longer-lasting wear
  • Only top-grade gemstones make the cut for our collection

By keeping our margins low and prioritising craftsmanship over markups, we’re able to offer exceptional jewellery — at a price that’s genuinely fair.

All our lab-grown diamonds over 0.5ct and gemstones over 2.0ct come with a dedicated IGI report.

While most UK jewellery brands only provide IGI certificates for lab-grown diamonds, we ensure that the lab-grown gemstones we use are also accompanied by a dedicated IGI report.  So you’ll always have peace of mind that every stone originates from a place we’ve personally chosen for its ethical practices.

You can learn more in our Gemstone & Jewellery Certification Guide.

Frequently asked questions

Explore more FAQs
  • Yes — all of our diamonds and gemstones are lab-grown. They offer the same beauty, brilliance, and durability as natural stones, but are created with greater transparency and minimal environmental impact. Most come with IGI certification for added peace of mind.

To learn more about the lab-grown gemstones we use, please visit our Guides.

  • Lab-grown diamonds are one of the top choices for engagement rings due to their durability and brilliance. That said, coloured gemstones are becoming increasingly popular, particularly emeralds, sapphires and rubies.

Each stone has a unique meaning — emeralds for love and rebirth, sapphires for loyalty, and rubies for passion. There’s also Lab Paraiba Garnet — a rarer, more unique stone loved for its distinctive, striking colour. So, if you're looking for a non-traditional yet meaningful ring, then colourful stones are beautiful alternatives to classic diamonds.

  • Choosing the right cut depends on your personal style and the amount of sparkle you desire. Popular cuts include round brilliant, oval, emerald, pear, and cushion.

Emerald cuts offer a more vintage feel, while round, oval and princess cuts maximise the diamond’s brilliance. Pear and marquise cuts provide unique, elongated shapes that flatter the finger. When choosing your ring, consider how the cut complements the gemstone and overall design—whether it’s a solitaire, halo, or trilogy engagement ring.

  • Traditionally, an engagement ring or a wedding ring is worn on the fourth finger of the left hand, often referred to as the "ring finger." This custom dates back to the ancient belief that a vein in this finger—the "vena amoris" or vein of love — ran directly to the heart.

Of course, traditions can vary by culture and personal preference. Some people choose to wear it on their right hand, especially in different parts of Europe or for practical reasons. There’s no wrong choice — it’s about what feels right for you.

  • We offer one complimentary resizing within 90 days of collection or delivery for all eligible Keanis rings. We understand that sizing can be tricky — especially if it’s for a surprise proposal — so you're welcome to visit us after the big moment for a professional fit and adjustment.

Please note that resizing is only available for rings made in 18K gold or platinum and typically within three full sizes up or down. Some styles, such as full eternity bands or open bands cannot be resized due to their design. If a ring is non-resizable, we’ll clearly note this on the product page.
